| CHAPTER-9 ARTICLE: 2 TITLE AND COMMENCEMENT |
| (Clause 1)This Constitution shall be known as the Constitution of the International HumanRights Commission. |
| (Clause 2)The Constitution shall come onto force on 24th of February 1996 or on such earlierday as the World Chairman may, by notification, appoint in the Constitution referred to as the commencing day. |

| In exercise of the powers conferred by the Constitution of the International Human Rights Commission, I Muhammad Shahid Amin Khan, the World Chairman is pleased to appoint the 24th day of February 1996, to be the day on which the provisions of the Constitution shall come into force as the Constitution of the International Human Rights Commission.
