The International Human Rights Commission World Chairman & Ambassador Dr.Muhammad Shahid Amin Khan was on the official visit to United States of America and met Mrs.Bhutto former Prime Minister of Pakistan at Washington,both sides discuss the situation of Pakistan and the visit of President of Pakistan General Pervez to United States. Mrs.Bhutto informed Ambassador Dr.Khan her party view on restoration of Democracy in Pakistan, she said, pakistan govenment doing all wrong to keep her away from her country and countrymen.Ambassador Khan assured her full cooperation of Commission and said we belive that you are the leader of Pakistan peoples and they should decied who they want not the government.
Ambassador Khan visited United Nations H.Q at New York and met UN Officials on 5th of February 2002, In the meeting with UN officials, he briefed them about the Child & Women projects which are under working in Pakistan and in 13 countries.
Ambassador Dr.Muhammad Shahid Amin Khan also met the Foriegn Secretary Inam ul Haq, Press Secretary to President of Pakistan General Rashid Qurashi, Finnice Minister Shoukat Aziz, & President of Pakistan General Pervez Musharraf on February 13 at Washington in the dinner hosted by the Ambassador of Pakistan to United States and discuss the international and issues related to human rights & world peace. Ambassador Khan also stressed them to restor democracy in Pakistan as soon as posible.
Ambassador Khan also called on the Attorney General of United States and Assistant Secretary of State for HR & Deomcarcy.He discuss with them on currant issues and war against terror. Dr.Khan also put up the matter of those who are arrested innocently by the US Police and FBI , Dy.Attorney General Mr Boyed assured him that US Government will do justice with all regardless of their nation.
Ambassador Dr.Muhammad Shahid Amin Khan also visited the WSA H.Q and met the President Daved, both sides discuss the issue of human rights and agree to bost the relation between both international Organizations. |
