Three pictures taken at the clearcut. There are many types of flowers in bloom and the place is awesome. Sadly the pictures do not capture the mood of the spot very well. The patch of purple flowers in the lower left shot are fire weed. Daisies and Cat's Ear are also prominant in the other 2 shots.

Here is the sit spot I have been preparing for a 24 hour sit. I plan to fast, light a sacred fire, sing and meditate. I'm doing this in preparation for a week I'm spending in S. Dakota with a Lakota Medicine Man.

The following are pictures taken during the Deception Creek hike. It is an old growth forest, mostly Cedar and Hemlock, near Stephen's Pass.
