Hanging cattail |
I am currently collecting more cattail and will post updated pics when I finish. I'd like to acknowledge all the valuable assistance I've recieved from several people. Most notibly Xavier whose suggestions and help in construction have made this possible. Also John for his suggestions, help and donations. Gene and Sandy have also been very supportive. Also, many other folks have given me moral support by their excitement when I've told them about the project. |

And the finished product. I wish I had a little more cattail to put another layer on top but it doesn't leak and gathering cattail isn't all that much fun. The space inside is 12 foot diameter with a 7 foot height in the center. My wood stove does a good job of heating and there is plenty of space for me, my stuff and room to work on crafts. |

My shelter in the snow. It's still warm and dry inside with the wood stove going. The snow is blocking a little of my light so I got an oil lantern to solve that problem. |
