Ikebana is the traditional Japanese art of flower arrangement. Originally designed for Japanese Bushi (warlords) and Samurai (warriors), it is now practiced and appreciated by people from all walks of life. Please enjoy looking at some pictures of Ikebana floral arrangements that I have prepared and demonstrated over the last 20 years.Classes are regularly held for students of all levels in London. Class information is given in the links above. If you live outside of London, please contact us for further information.. If you would like to give it a try why not join a class or two! Ikebana can add color and harmony to the artistic side of your lifestyle. Certificates from the Ikenobo head school in Kyoto are obtainable after training periods and specific levels of achievement.
What is Ikenobo? The Ikenobo Ikebana history and concept is explained in the Ikenobo international site. The Ikebobo school is the oldest school of Ikebana, established over 500 years ago.
