Welcome! The Indiana-Kentucky-Illinois Miniature Horse Club was founded in 1997. Our main objectives are to promote and foster interest in the miniature horse breed; to aid in the protection and care of miniature horses; to encourage breeding, registration, training and exhibition of good healthy stock; to educate others of the versatility of miniature horses; to develop and promote communication and cooperation among breeders, researchers, and associations interested in miniature horses.
Currently, we have 27 members. We meet the first week of the month at a local restaurant or a club member's farm. Membership is open to anyone who owns a miniature horse or has an interest in the breed. In the spring, we hold a sanctioned show. During the year, members also participate in parades, clinics, and demonstrations.
We also have a youth group within the club. The youth can earn points toward trophies which are awarded at the picnic in October. One trophy is for earning points at sanctioned horse shows and the other is for participation in parades and demonstrations.
High Point and Participation Forms can be found on the Youth Page.
