Basho starts out brusque and mocking towards Kurapica, but gradually warms up to him. Notable characteristic: his fantastic handlebar moustache.
DALZORNE
ダルツォルネ
Second-in-command to Nostrand, Dalzorne is capable of slicing through pure metal with his katana. Generally flanked by by two beautiful lasses. Dalzorne is later stabbed through the shoulder and killed by Ubo.
NEON
ネオン=ノストラード
The attractive, bratty daughter of Nostrand, Neon enjoys collecting dead things (eyes, skin, mummies). Neon's finest possession is her demon-possessed fortune-telling pen. Kuroro takes her out for coffee, knocks her out and steals her pen.
NOSTRAND
ライト＝ノストラード
As his name would imply, Nostrand (Nosia) is one of the mafia dons. The other dons disrespect him since he's risen through the ranks through Neon's uncannily accurate fortune-telling. Spoils his daughter rotten.
SENRITSU
センリツ
Senritsu is exceptional musician and is looking to destroy the Dark Sonata, a score of death & destruction composed by the devil. Her blobby appearance was caused by listening to one note of the Sonata.
SUKUWARA
スクワラ
Sukuwara has a crush on Neon's guardian, and is often times left behind to babysit. His nen skill involves controlling dogs. Sukuwara is later beheaded by Nobunaga.
TOSHI
シャッチモーノ＝トッチーノ
One of Nostrand's original bodyguards, Toshi is able to materialize ninjas with his Nen. Toshi is later killed by Franklin.
VEZE
ヴェーゼ
A body for sin, Veze ("Belle") defeats her opponents with a passionate kiss that puts them under her spell. Enjoys humiliating men. Veze is eventually killed by Shizuku.
