The KASSLER HOME in Kiryat Haim
The Kyriat Haim Kassler Home for grown up handicapped, is considered the flagship of ILANs projects and is an outstanding modern building unique in its type. The home is planned to host 80 severely handicapped people, providing them not only with medical and nursing services but also with vocational and leisure activities.
ILAN takes great pride in the Kassler Home, especially due to its beautiful design, welcoming and attractive atmosphere and airy rooms, bathed in sunshine and facing open green spaces. Yet, special care has been taken to assure the privacy and homely feeling of all residents.
The Kassler Home will provide an occupational department that will function as a separate unit and will encourage the home residents to participate in daytime workshops and various occupational activities, thus putting into use their outmost potential.

The inauguration ceremony included speeches of the Minister of Welfare. the Mayor of Haifa and ILAN Leadership as well as some artistic interludes such as dancing in wheelchairs and organ playing.
בית קסלר המעון החדש של איל"ן בקרית חיים
לאחר מאבק של שנה נחנך ב 19.5.02 בית קסלר - מעון הנכים החדש של איל"ן - בקריית חיים חנוכת המעון התקיימה לאחר מאבק מתיש שניהל איל"ן מול משרד העבודה והרווחה לקביעת תעריף ריאלי עבור הנכים שיתגוררו במקום. בסופו של דבר הושגה פשרה בתיווך מנכ"ל משרד ראש הממשלה מר אביגדור יצחקי.
הטקס התקיים במעמד שר העבודה והרווחה הרב שלמה בניזרי, ראש עיריית חיפה מר עמרם מצנע, יו"ר ועדת העבודה והרווחה של הכנסת הרב דוד טל, מנכ"ל משרד ראש הממשלה מר אביגדור יצחקי ויו"ר הנהלת איל"ן מר אלון ברוידא.
בית קסלר, בו יתגוררו 80 דיירים בוגרים, הוא מעון יחיד מסוגו בארץ אשר תוכנן ונבנה לפי צרכיהם המיוחדים של דייריו. בבית קסלר שמונה אגפי מגורים ואגף מנהלי וטיפולי. באגף הטיפולי יהיו שרותי סיעוד, רפואה ואשפוז, טיפולים פרה-רפואיים, שרותים סוציאליים, קהילתיים ופסיכולוגיים ועוד. מנכ"ל איל"ן, מר שמעון צוריאלי, ציין כי הוא שמח שהנכים יגיעו למנוחה ולנחלה לאחר שהמתינו זמן.
אכלוס המעון צפוי במחצית חודש יולי.
