Hobbits are short little creatures with fuzzy feet, right? Sure, but there is a lot more to Hobbits than meets the eye... |
There is a lot to say about Hobbits regarding their differnt types and such, but we will leave those details to Hobbitologists. This page is concerned with educating you about Hobbit culture and aspects of Hobbits that are important to keep in mind when considering the eviles of Hobbit Abuse and such. First of all, Hobbits love to eat. They eat 6 meals a day, if they can get them. When a Hobbit doesn't get anough to eat, bad things can happen...keeping Hobbits well fed is a very important aspect of Hobbit care. Also, Hobbits love |
parties. On Hobbit birthdays, the birthday Hobbit give gifts out to all his or her guests. At these parties, Hobbits also enjoy dancing, music, and of course eating. Hobbits are a Merry folk who usually like to keep to themselves as bigger folk can be somehwat intimidating to them. If a Hobbit thinks he or she is in danger or does not want to be seen, they can usually hide themselves well and most often they are undetectable to all but the animals around them in nature (one exception being elves, of course). Hobbits also have excellent vision, which they use to defend themselves by throwing objects such as stones. |
Hobbits usually live their quiet lives in the Shire, farming, eating, making things, having and raising children and such. However, in recent years, there has been an increase in Hobbit abuse to the extent where it has become a widespread problem. Hobbits are no longer able to simple hide from their problems or throw a stone to save themselves from incursions into their homes by big people. They often get Hobbit-napped by those who wish to use Hobbits for their own purposes, and there are few Hobbits who are able to defend themselves. |
