Foamy
Waves ashore

Causing sea
To frostily
rip and roar

Silent snow
falling
Gulls soulful
calling

As ice crystal
strands
Make sparkling
sands

Snowflakes melt
Cause shiver
To hermit crabs
They scamper

Beaches now
returned
to sand critters
in frosted glitter

say goodbye
to seas of summer
as winter claims its turn
