Lois Gladys Leppard

_____ Lois Leppard isn't a well know author, but she is one of my personal favorites. Her Mandie series makes up for all the ineffective attempts to put growing up a Christain into terms easily understood. Her stories are about a thirteen year old girl named Mandie who loses her father, but finds and mother, grandmother, and stepfather. Because of Mandie's inquisitive nature and nack for finding mysteries she gets into the most inopportune situations. Although endangering herself and her friends by disobeying her parents somehow she manages to stay one step ahead. Through her growth in Christ she begins to learn some common sense. A very special thanks goes out to Ray for the last four books on the list.
