With easily the hottest single in the country with "Gangsta Nation", Westside Connection put together another banging album. Banging production, sick lyrics and solid promotion helped to make this album the leader for the west in a year that had some stellar debuts. YEAHE YEAHE!!! | Best Album- Outkast- Speakerboxx/The Love Below: Overall, 2003 was a mixed bag of stellar albums and frisbee material, but none can argue that Outkast came with one of the most diverse albums in history. | Overall, I thought 2003 had some very good albums, but hip hop as a whole is getting very stale. 50 Cent seems like the next big thing, but people are going to be looking for something else other than him. Region wise, I liked the things that I heard from the South and the West towards the end of the year. Hopefully Westside Connection's success will help out the coast as a whole. The East and Midwest also had some stellar albums but it was hit and miss. We "supposedly" say goodbye to 2 great mcs in Jay Z & DMX, but I'll believe it when I see it. I want to take this time to thank all of the fans and visitors that have supported the site since day one. 2003 was not one of our best years, but we have alot in store for you guys in 2004 so keep it locked here at Illuminati 2G!
