Adopt Me!
Hi! My name is Sheila...I'm a real sweetheart looking for love in a great home!  I was found at a park in south Sacramento on August 9th, and followed my current housemates home.  My foster dad tried to find my original home, but didn't have any luck.  I'm part Pit, but don't be sacred!  I'm very gentle and not a meanie!  I'm probably more scared of stuff than you'll be of me. People aren't sure what else I am--some say Queensland Heeler, some think Boxer, some Shepherd..my foster dad thinks I'm part Dingo!  I'm still a little girl; I don't remember exactly when I was born, but it was less than a year ago.  I'm now having my "growth spurt", but I won't get too much bigger--probably not over 40 or 50 pounds.  I have lots of puppy energy and love to play, but also like being a lapdog!  I'm full of curiousity, I like playing with my doggy friends I'm staying with, and I like the kitty too (but she doesn't like to play--I learned that quickly!); I'm friendly with kids and grown-ups, but may be a little shy at first...after all, I was a stray and didn't know who I could trust.  Once I meet you, though, I have lots & lots of love to give you--I've been giving my foster dad & doggy friends lots of kisses!  I'm potty-trained, but still pull on my leash sometimes (when there's another doggie I want to meet!)..I need a little work still, but I'm a very quick learner!  I'm looking for someone I can be a constant companion to (I get worried if you leave me for too long), and who will give me lots of love and attention (and a nice yard to run around in would be great, too!). My biggest dream, though, is to find a great home with my foster brother, who dad just rescued.  We're the same age, and love to play & play & play with each other! Please e-mail my foster dad if you want to find out more about me, and maybe we can be friends forever!
Me with my new best friend/foster brother  Pancho. That's my big foster sister Mandy behind me.  She's the alpha, but I still like to play with her!
I'm so cute! What's not to love?
I've got a beautiful coat, don't I?
I'm just looking for a little love..is that so bad?
Look into my eyes..you're getting sleepy..things are becoming blurry...
How can you resist these sad puppy dog eyes?
Any chance that you have room in your home and your heart for both of us?
