This is an impressive fort with and cannon declared to be the biggest in the world. It was built in 1726 by Jai Singh and so is named Jaigarh.  With its Diwa Burj watchtower, its huge water reservoir (now overgrown with gigantic cactii), residential area, little temple, and puppet theatre (where a puppet show can still be watched), and above all, it massive cannon (above which a shed has been raised), Jaigarh is an unforgettable experience. The cannon is so huge that it was not transported to the fort, or even assembled there from parts. The whole cannon was forged there, atop the fort, and the forge with its furnace and instruments are still there.
