Lucy-Desi Museum

Permanent exhibits describe Lucille Ball's and Desi Arnaz's personal stories, and visitors can listen to recorded oral histories from Lucy's childhood friends. Other displays portray Lucy and Desi's contribution to early television. Interactive exhibits allow visitors to test their I Love Lucy knowledge and view family scrapbooks created by the couple's daughter, Lucie Arnaz.

After six years in its current location, the museum has outgrown the building and plans are under way to move the collection to a new facility. Once settled into its new home, the Lucy-Desi Museum will give visitors the opportunity to view more of the enormous collection of Lucy artifacts not currently displayed, including Lucy's 1972 Mercedes Benz and the recently acquired TV stage set of the Ricardos' living room.

The museum, which is wheelchair accessible, houses a small gift shop. Next door is another shop containing hundreds of Lucy-related items. For more information, call (716) 484-0800 or visit www.lucy-desi.com, where all the gift shop items can be viewed online.
