Fruit Basket

to Richard and Rachel's Place

Hi Y'all! Glad you came by!

How long has it been since I updated this site? At least a year! It's now 2002; I can't believe it! Time flies by...

A lot has happened in the past few years. Sadly, Sheba, our "furkid", died of liver cancer November 2000. I haven't updated the dog's site yet. When I'm ready. We miss her more than words can say.

We've moved to the country, cotton to the west and north, orchards to the east and south of us. While it's nice living in the country, I could do without the dust and dirt and mud!

In September 2001 I was diagnosed with Valley Fever. What a horrible disease! Luckily I had a mild case considering... but it was pretty awful. If you ever visit the southwest US and afterwards you start getting sick and don't know what's wrong with you have them check for Valley Fever, also known as Cocci. If not treated it can be fatal. Go to valleyfever.com for more info.

I completed the 1880's polonaise I was working on when I updated the site last. I need to post pictures!!!

And my feral kitties!!! Someday I'll have a page about them too, all the good and the bad stories. There's always both kinds.

Probably the biggest change to this site is the addition of the genealogy information. I've found out a lot of information about my ancestors but there is still much more to discover. I never knew I was related to so many people! To fit the complete genealogy onto this site, I've had to delete Rich's Stone Plants page. He never did get them finished - so, sorry they had to go. I only have so much space available to host this web site :-).

I hope you enjoy your stay here and don't forget to sign the guest book!

And now some "legal" mumbo jumbo...
I have made every effort to format these pages so they will look presentable in different browsers and resolutions. That said, these pages are best viewed with Internet Explorer 4.0 at 1024x768 resolution in true color. Biggest recommended viewing resolution is 800x600. Don't know why, but AOL tends to "distort" the backgrounds on this site.
