G'den sighed at Terth. The young Weyrling was twisting and turning, snapping at the falling leaves.
"If you wish to practice fighting Thread, why not ask me, Terth?" called G'den. Terth turned and looked at his rider.
Why not throw me that stone, rider mine? And besides. I'm not only practicing fighting Thread... There are many females that will soon be ready to fly... And I will be ready for them. G'den agreed and tossed a stone above Terth's head. G'den was once more impressed at the small brown's precision. He was small, smaller than some of the other dragons, but he was very quick, and agile. And very intelligent. G'den was very proud of his bondmate, that this wonderful rich coloured Brown had chosen him. G'den smiled at Terth's playful antics. He figured Terth would do well fighting Thread, or chasing at a flight. He was definately small, and that may be a disadvantage, but most likely not. And so quick...
Come now, throw another one! We must practice! G'den gladly threw another stone, glad that his Terth was so excited about Thread and chasing Flights.
