So this was a hatching, huh? Impressive. The Dragons were huge, and beautiful, but the mom was kinda scary. The dad looked a little bit afraid of her, actually, and that made Bre grin. It reminded her of her own parents. She laughed. She and Brooke and Allison were all watchign the eggs when they started to hatch. Bre latched onto Brooke's arm and shook her excitedly. It was happening! The eggs were hatching! Bre was still latched onto Brooke's arm when something caught her attention. Well, it was pretty hard to miss- two eggs exploded simultaneously. The egg shards rained down onto the candidates, and Bre heard Allison squeal and then giggle. But the explosion only attracted her attention. It was one of the little dragons that captivated it. She was smallish and an attention grabbing purple-pink colour. And she was bouncing over towards Bre!

Oh, hi there Bre! I'm Delderith, and you don't have to be scared of my mommy. She's just a little stressed out. But hey, can we go get some food? I feel like I haven't eaten in months! Bre laughed and they left with Brooke and the little gold-red dragon that she bonded with.
