"Just look!" She yanked her skirt down. Kait recoiled back, and then peered close. There it was- a tiny blue and violet butterfly on her left...cheek.
"Oh, its cute! How much was it?" asked Kait, a half-smile on her lips. Jill fixed her skirt, checked her hair in the mirror, and replied: "Nothin." They looked at each other and giggled, and then bolted for second period.
Jill frowned as she stared at her paper, hand digging in the side of her face. She was thinking...but not about H.G. Wells' style vs. purpose. She was thinking about her reputation. She wasn't known as a slut or anything...She wasn't really known. She blended in. Well, the hockey girls loved her. They thought she was fantastic, and they loved her wild streak. Yeah, they called her Rainbow. She almost regretted telling them her secret- something no one else knew. That she dyed her.... Well, her.... her hair. The hair that nobody sees. Not for someone particular, mind you. She did it for herself. They giggled, and it became a joke. She didn't mind. It was fine.
So yeah, she had a few piercings in some... unmentionable places. That wasn't so bad, huh? And so what if this was her third tattoo... They were all small. But hey, her tattoo/body piercing artist liked her. And so she got them for free. And that was okay by her. All she ever did was kiss him. She'd never go farther with him... She didn't like him that way.
She snapped back to the moment. The bell was ringing. Time for third period. And soon it would be time for their big game.
