Kelay is average height, with shoulder length brown hair streaked blond by the sun, and medium-toned skin. She is slender, but with a muscular lining. She has two large brown eyes, so dark that they are almost black. They are framed by long dark lashes, and topped with highly arched eyebrows. Her ears are smallish, but serve their purpose well. They are pierced twice in each ear, both piercings in the lobe. One hole holds a round silver stud, and the other, a dangling tooth from some unknown animals. Her nose is small, and tilts up at the end. It also has a piercing, on the left side, holding another silver stud.
Kelay is a friendly person, outgoing and talkative. When she is excited, she tends to talk a little too much. She has a very bad temper, but it takes a lot to anger her. She loves to meet new people, thinking of everyone she meets as a potential friend. She believes there is good in everyone, and does not understand why anyone would hurt another person, either physically or emotionally.
Kelay has wanted to Impress all of her life. Her parents discouraged her dreams, not wanting her to build up her hopes, and of course for their own reasons which they kept hidden from her. But Kelay is more determined than ever now. She wants to Impress wants to become a Rider, and wants to have a dragon by her side, to share her hopes and dreams, relationships, troubles, pains and happiness, and everything else there is to be experienced in life.
Kelay was born to Greenrider Kitan and Bluerider D'fil. For years later, they tried to have another child. Seven times more her mother became pregnant, and seven times the baby was born dead. Her parents finally gave up, feeling blessed to have one beautiful girl. They spoiled her rotten in the early years of her life, and when she was about ten turns, they suddenly realized it. She wasn't spoiled so that she was mean, but she definately was used to the best of everything. When her parents realized they had spoiled her, they tried to stop it. This caused much confusion in her life, and she suddenly wasn't getting the best of the best anymore. She is no longer so demanding, and has used that experience and learned from her parents mistakes- she vows to never spoil her children, or a dragon shall she be lucky enough the Impress someday.
