"Niobeth! Leave Tuk alone!" called Zhronsha to the dragonet. The little green turned her head, giving Tuk time to escape.
Aw, Nasha. You let her get away. I was just playing. The little green hung her head and looked up at Zhronsha with big eyes.
"That's not gonna work, Missy. I've told you before not to try to eat Tuk. She's smaller than you, and more delicate." The flitter stood on Zhronsha's shoulder, and began chirping scolds to the hatchling.
"And you don't encourage her either, Tuk," said Zhronsha to the flit. She turned back to Niobeth.
"Okay, Niobeth. If you are bored, do you want to go swimming?" The little dragon lit ip.
Yes! Yes! Let's go, let's go! Niobeth, wired with energy, scampered around, ready to go. Zhronsha smiled. The little dragon was going to be a handful, and it was going to be so much fun.
