Review: Right from the start this episode was definitely my favourite for this season. After a couple of really bad episodes in the past few weeks this episode made me laugh out loud for the first time in quite a while. Most of the laughs were 'potty' humour, which I haven't seen used this frequently in one episode of The Simpsons for some time. "Nibbles, chew on my ball sack"; "This'll be the last time you play with your Willy!"; and the scene where Chief Wiggum was writing his name in the snow with the coffee. They were great scenes. "I think we just hit something! -- I hope it was Flanders!". Why can't every episode be like this. There was one thing that let me down about this episode, and that was how the children in the school handled the event. All that aside, this episode receives the highest grade since Insane Clown Poppy, which previously held the title of best episode this season. Rating: 10/10 Episode: Cape Feare
Review: Not everyone is a fan of Sideshow Bob episodes but personally I think they are OK. Released from prison again, Bob returns to Springfield to seek revenge on Bart, making the whole family change their identity to "The Thompsons" and move house to live on a boat at "Terror Lake". This episode had its funny moments like when Homer is being interviewed for his new identity and just doesn't get it and when Bob steps on a numerous amount of rakes. The scene where Bob is performing the whole HMS Pinafore repatoire is quite entertaining. Over all a good episode. Review: 7/10 |
