Pangkor Island and Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia - March 2002 I took a trip with some of the other teachers from my school and had a blast.  It was an eye-opening experience and gave me a chance to see one of the most beautiful countries and cities that I have ever laid eyes on.  Powder white sand, turquoise blue water with coral reefs perfect for snorkeling, amazing wildlife, and of course, staying in five-star hotels didn't hurt.  All in all, it's one of the nicest trips I've ever taken.

The Petronas twin towers in downtown Kuala Lumpur are currently the world's tallest buildings although Taipei 101 aka the Taipei Financial Center, if it ever gets finished, will hold that title.
