What To Do

David Stanley's South Pacific Handbook gives a good idea about what to be expected when you visit Manu'a. He has about 3 pages of information about Manu'a. But that's better than some other books that don't even mention it.

Stanley's book also touched a little on the National Park of American Samoa, but the National Park Service's internet pages give more precise and interesting information about the portion of the Park located in the Manu'a islands.

Being surrounded by the Pacific Ocean, activities around water are what visitors primarily do when they visit the South Pacific islands. But, when you visit Manu'a, why not consider hiking and camping in the newly created National Park of American Samoa and visit some historical sites that might take a day out of your agenda.
