Hello...My name is Ernie and I'm a Blue Crowned Conure. I was rescued by some humans named Dean and Dee on March 23, 2001 when I lived at the EXOTIC PET STORE in East Hartford, Connecticut. I was 6 months old at the time of the rescue and very reluctant to explore the outside world.
As of this time, at my new home, I have two sisters. I have a sister who is a Lutino Cockatiel. Her name is Edna. My other sister is Bessie, a cockatiel also. I also have 2 parakeets in my family and their names are Jack and Blossom. I get very confused because Jack is the female and Blossom is the male. I know this for a fact because Jack just gave birth to six eggs, but unfortunately I won't have any neices or nephews because none of them survived. You can see more pictures of them on the next page, as this page is totally mine.
I'm learning new words, as my owners spend sooo much time with me. I even get to eat at the dinner table with them every nite and sleep on a perch (out of my cage) right next to their bed.
I can whistle at pretty girls, make kissing sounds, say "HI" and "Whaccha Doin"... I will say that life doesn't get much better than this, except I wish my new found mother wouldn't try to pressure me to eat so many veggies. Here are a few pictures of me... but don't get too excited as I tend to look like the rest of the blue crowned conures I've seen on other webpages.
