During my visit with Richie to the Tennessee State Fair in September of 2000, we noticed that Weird Al was supposed to be having a concert at the fairgrounds! Woohoo!!! I made a promise to myself when I was younger that if I was ever in the same city as Weird Al, I would have to go see him in concert.
Richie and I got there plenty early and got wonderful seats (well, standing room only spots) about one deep from the stage. We also ran into my friend Cat who is a huge Weird Al fan also. The concert was awesome! He did all of his greats, and had too many costume changes to remember. I managed to snap a few photos of him, all of which came out great! Definitely a concert I won't soon forget!
