My Health Issues I guess I'm pretty well off for my age.(that was 5 years ago...lol) However, these things really do take it's tole on one. Maybe some of these links can help you with issues you also face.
Diabetes
I am starting with Diabetes as that is the most prevelent in my life. I have recently found a great eating plan. Let's not call it a "diet"....I hate diets...don't you? The Low Carbohydrate Way of Eating and Living
There are lots of sites on the net that can explain this better than I can here. But, I do want to tell you, it is working for me :o) OMG....what a crock of bull....lol...I sure have learned a lot in the past 5 years, and gained almost 100 lbs in the process...lol I also quit smoking in 2002..most of the weight gain came to me after that.
Here is a converter to help you change grams to ounces. Most "Nutritional Facts" list serving size in grams :o)
I removed all the links to the low carb diet. I am sure it has worked for many, but, I have now been hearing a lot of negative information on Low Carb living. The only way to do this right is to change the way you are eating that has caused the excess weight, but, still eat well balanced meals and snacks. I really like what I read at the Woman's Day site. Check it out for yourself :o) I don't think I will be changing this in a few years. How can a sensible, well balanced, diet change :o)
Click here :o) Please consult your own Doctor before starting any kind of eating program.
