Surge have been together for four years and are based in the Huyton area of Liverpool. Their influences include Green Day and Blink 182 and their brand of energetic punk has earned them a large fanbase. They have recorded two CDs and are currently working on a new album.

They have appeared at many Merseyside venues including The Masque, The Picket and the Liverpool Empire and air regularly on Granada/Sky/cable TV.
