Legion: Purple Dawn

Legion's quest for power came to fruitition.  After slaughtering countless Lu'In the great queen and her drones had secured the city and the last plant that began to flower that day it would take three days for it to mature to blast off though.  The streets were littered with the dead Lu'In and were soaked with blood, as the Legion drones headed to protect the plant.
  The queen monitored the plant and the drones as something showed up on the neural network that was her mind.  She turned and saw a large, mechanical device heading for her.  It was a giant box on wheels that spewed fire from its prosterior.  The machine opened and released a large antenna-like projection taht confused the queen as the drones were too busy with their own work. 
   The projection that looked like a long-hair of metal began to glow a bright blue color and then fired an energy pulse beam at Legion.  Legion was hit and the strike of the beam did its damage, yet it was it was very little.  Legion returned fired and it hull of this pathetic excuse for a last minute rescue attempt by the last of the Lu'In.  The beam struck and it, and only caused the vehicle mild damage as it released a storm of missiles on the behemoth bug.
  Legion, to say the most, was annoyed by these minor stings to its being.  Then the machine launched a large missile at the great insect before it.  It struck Legion and left a wound, a wound that was not life-threatening but Legion had enough of this!  Its eye flared red and a series of plasma whips erupted from its open horn.  They struck the machine as it fired away.  Then Legion shoved the whips through the machine!  When the plasma  whips were withdrew from the metal hulk, sparks flew and its form began to glow showing its time to explode.  Then it exploded flinging debris all over the city, now colony.
  As the sun came up this meant that Legion was victorious in its quest.  As the purple dawn shown on the Legion queen and drones then upon the blossom that would mean massive destruction, the Legion had did their job in the grand scheme of things.  It was a new beginning for the Legion and this planet.
