The Art of Brick
Welcome to my LEGO web site! I have two main sub-hobbies in LEGO: robotics, mainly the MINDSTORMS line of products, and LEGO CAD (computer-aided design). As you can see above, these interests so intrigued me that I eventually wrote a book about MINDSTORMS, which made use of LEGO CAD for the building instructions.

I've created quite a few MINDSTORMS robots, and can see many of them here along with digital and computer-generated images. You can also download the programs for some of robots instruction steps if they are available. Also check out my LEGO CAD section. This contains stunningly real scenes and models created in MLCad and rendered using a POV-Ray. Don't forget to see my recommended selection of LEGO books and some LEGO links. - David J. Perdue
Sir Smith's Last Battle
This is a medieval scene depicting six funny knights, a dragon, and lots of amazing special effects! It is actually an updated version of the original I created back in early 2003. This one features clouds and an even higher quality image.
