FALLEN DREAMS...Depression Can Steal Your Dreams

FALLEN DREAMS

FALLEN DREAMS

I had dreams that stirred my world,
And you let me be the girl.
A friend that shines in darkness,
Please don't hate me.

If they held me, would they die?
The smoke-filled room will hide their lies.
I'm lost in your out-stretched hand
Don't forget me.

If they're flying then I'll fall.
Somewhere someone's standing tall.
Be my angel if you like,
But just don't leave me.

Like a petal in the wind,
A broken leaf begins to singe.
If fragile never breaks,
I'm disintegrating.

They thought they created winners,
But even priests are born as sinners.
So if it's me that falls again,
Please don't catch me.

My Epitaph
Passion
Idealistic Passion
Unable to accept
The world as it is
Yet powerless
To change it

Others
Accept and move on
I mourn
For what is not
For what was lost
And what can never be

Little Poem
I could write if I felt better,
a positive little poem-
with green grass
sweet valleys and
a safe place of my own.
I could write of pretty flowers
and the stars up in the sky,
I could write about lovely meadows
and pretty butterflies.
If only I were feeling better,
I would write a little poem-
about walking trails
happy trees and,
a safe place of my own.

To see your own drama clearly
is to be liberated from it.

Ken Keyes

Peace is not something you must
hope for in the future.
It is a deepening of the present,
and unless you look for it
in the present
you will never find it.

Thomas Merton

If you are reluctant to ask the way,
you will be lost.
