Please See the Submission Page for NEW Award Styles

Welcome to IN 2 BEADS. This website is the result of many years of webmastering, surfing, and out-and-out admiration. In my travels on the web I have discovered some awe inspiring sites. This page is a tribute to them. Those sites selected are under no commercial or personal obligation, though they all receive an "award" from me. The links you see here will tend to be Native American simply because that is my own beading background. I would LOVE to have more variety here, so consider submitting a favorite site you don't see. Please note that there is a SEPARATE section for suppliers at the bottom of the page.

Kimimi's Quill and Beadwork: If you admire Quill Work this site is quite amazing. Check her out!

Zulu Beadwork: I was immediately taken in by what I saw. Similar to Native American, Zulu beadwork is worth looking at more than once and this site is a great starting point.

Arhyonel Beadwork and Restorations:This site is an impressive showcase of antique beaded evening bags the webmaster has repaired. Simply lovely work!

Interweave: A central source for weave work, including beading. One of the best for resources.

Native Tech's Beadwork Page: Native Tech is more or less the official voice of Indigenous art forms on line. This is their bead page. Check out the rest while you're there!

Creations by Lauren: Incredible bead and leatherwork. Don't miss this site.

Shala's Beadwork Site: Some very nice work to view and some very helpful tutorials.

Beaded Designs by Christina: Christina is Martha Berry's daughter and the apple doesn't fall far from the tree! Her work is wonderful. If you expect to see a carbon copy of her mom's lovely creations think again, Christina's work is quite different. This family is simply amazing-- so much talent in one gene pool!

Beadwork By Red Eagle: Family gallery that has quite a bit to offer including some wonderful barettes!

KC's BBeadin (Kathie's Creations": Kathie has some beautiful and really inspirational freeform and spiral beadwork on her page. I got ideas just looking, and was frankly impressed with the sheer movement and motion of color in her work. Check her out!

Rebekah Hodous: Beadwork and Collage Artist; this is a nice, clean site with some very impressive beaded bags.

Bead Section of Craftwild: I uploaded the page and saw a gorgeous free form magnolia looking at me. It's not extensive at this time but had one pattern up and some kits for purchase. Hope this one grows!

Kim Elmore: Kim's designs are inspired by Native American work, some interesting uses of hairbone pipes and simple strung work.

Eagle Spirit: This UK site has an impressive number of tutorials and displays some excellent work. It takes patience to navigate, there is a lot to see. There are patterns on the site (and don't we just love that???) as well as some photographs of classes.

Suppliers for Beaders:

General Bead's Page: Supplies, really good bead section.

Shipwreck Beads: Great supplier, and they have those neat rose beads!

Native American Craft Supplies: Indian supplier with some hard to get items.

Wakeda Trading Post: Another Indian supplier with some useful items.

Fire Mountain: Fire Mountain was once my most favorite source. I have included them here although I no longer use them. Click HERE if you want to know WHY. They sell dynamites, my favorite bead, and have a fantastic inventory. I thought it fair to let my visitors make up their own minds about them.
