The Sick Spike Challenge

I've had this idea for a while, but I just wanted to see someone else to write it. It could take place in Seasons 5, 6 or 7....something where Spike gets sick, very sick and they are rushing to try to find a cure but meanwhile, Buffy has to come to grips with her feelings for him. Also, something with the illness has to make Spike delerious and causes Giles to have to care for him because in his delirium, Spike thinks Giles is his father or grandfather. Bonus points would go toward any Spike/Willow friendship stuff in the story.

The Before She Was a Slayer Challenge

Requirements:
-Buffy still in Hemery, NOT a slayer yet.
-Buffy is a cheerleader.
-Buffy is single.
-Spike & Drusilla are still together.
-Spike having dreams that Buffy is going to be the strongest slayer.
-Spike falling in love with her [Buffy]. Vice Versa.
-Drusilla is jealous.
-Dru tries to kill Buffy on her own.
-Spike kills Drusilla.
-Buffy & Spike have problems...(don’t care what kind of problems but needs to have at least 3 problems & solutions).
-Drusilla coming back to life (again-again) seeking revenge.
-Have a twist at the end. Like a surprise ending...

Challenge 005

The Crime + Punishment in Suburbia Challenge

If you haven't seen this film, I would suggest renting. The basics: Someone is trapped in the sense that some aspect of their life is overwhelming them (in the film it's Roseanne's parental and home situation), and if they don't get help, very soon they will self destruct (in any sense you want- suicide, breakdown, whatever). Luckily someone else (the lovely Vincent Kartheiser in the film) knows. So construct a story based on the dying/can love save them? theme. The film is just a loose guideline. You can play off of the Spike being saved from insanity post-soul attainment, or Buffy being saved from Darkness themes, but there are countless more subtle ones hidden within this show. Also, it needs to be narrated by the character who is doing the saving. (If Buffy needs to be saved, Spike would narrate, etc.). Also, for fun, perhaps once in a while this theme doesn't work and the character CAN'T be saved. Then the plan would destruct in the redeemer's face... So to recap (because I tend to ramble): Someone needs saving from something far worse than vampires. Can they be saved? (Narrated)

Challenge 001

The Willy Wonka Challenge

You've seen the movie or read the book. Now, transport the Scooby Gang to Willy Wonka's Chocolate Factory. It can either follow the movie to a certain degree or simply use the place as a setting. Any characters can be included or not, except Spike and Buffy, who must both be included. Can be any type of fic: fluffy, drama, horror, etc. Any rating is accepted, although we tend to prefer more plot than smut.

Requirements:

• Someone must fall into the Chocolate River
• The Oompa Loompas must be evil or naughty
• Anya must throw a fit ála Veruca Salt (although it can be about anything, not just the Golden Egg Geese)
• The line "I'm not gonna be the blueberry" must be used twice
• Someone must be addicted to the Lickable Wallpaper

Challenge 002

The Diaries Challenge

We all know Giles keeps his infamous watcher's Diaries on Buffy, but suppose he kept a diary on each of the Scoobies as well. Can use Scoobies of the past and/or present. Can be any type of fic: fluffy, drama, horror, etc. Any rating is accepted. Bonus points for smut on this one.

Requirements:

• The extra diaries can be found by any of the Scoobies, including Dawn, except Buffy or Spike
• The finder must share their findings with at least one other Scooby
• There must be at least one diary dedicated to each Scooby (but not all of them need to be read)
• There must be at least one diary dedicated to Spike
• The findings in the diaries must be exposed to everyone, including Spike and Buffy
• Someone must be snacking while reading (preferably something spillable)
• The phrase "the motherload" must be used at all times when characters are openly discussing the found diaries
• If you can work in someone saying, "I like to see the minnows swim" and have it not be totally irrelevant, you'll get a special present from the staff at Inamorati

This one is fairly simple yet requires major thought on your part. Pick any one of the lyrics given below. Write a Spike/Buffy fic based soley off of the chosen lyrics. Put whoever you want in it, make it any type of fic, and all ratings will be accepted.

The Ghostbusters Challenge

Okay, so I was watching Ghostbusters today (it's one of my all-time faves), and it dawned on me that the sitch in the movie could just as easily be an ep (or hell, even a whole season). So here's the challenge: Pick one of the suggested groups of three below and have them form their own little Demonbusters kinda group. There are no other requirements except for the one that goes for all Inamorati challenges: that the fic be S/B in nature. Again, any fic type and all ratings will be accepted.
