My Special Easter Present By April I lost my angel at 20 weeks and three days. It was Easter weekend of 2001. My friends and I were out having a good time on a Friday night, shooting pool and talking. Around one am we decided to go and get some breakfast. My son was getting hungry. As I went to get out of my car, I felt something warm and wet rundown my leg. I jumped back in my car and looked down. It was then that I saw the blood. I just knew in my heart what was happening. I rushed to the hospital. They took me up to Labor and Delivery and told me that I was already dilated to a 3. They asked if I would like them to try and stop the labor. I told them to do anything necessary. My doctor said that if my baby was born now, then there was no chance of him surviving. I felt as if someone had crushed my heart into millions of pieces. I stayed on my back for one day. Then on Easter Sunday, I woke up in pain. I got the nurse in my room and she went to go and! get the doctor. While she was gone, I felt my water break. I knew then that there was nothing on earth that could save my son. The doctor got there and at 251 am on April 15th, 2001, I gave birth to a beautiful baby boy. I decided that since it was Easter and my son was going to be with the angels on that day to give him a name of an angel. His name was Micheal Gabrial. He was sent to heaven at 400 am on April 15th. I am currently 13 weeks pregnant and an expecting to get my cerclage put in soon. I just pray every night that the good Lord is watching over me and my baby.
