my name is stephen. i was born on february 10, 1974. i live in michigan. i like to travel. i graduated in 1998 with an english degree from oakland university. i thought i wanted to be an english teacher, so i entered the education program. in the fall of 2000, i realized i didn't have the desire to continue pursuing it. i'm working at bombay and freelance writing while planning my next career step.

some of my likes include (no reason to even think about your dislikes: it's counterproductive to focus on what you dislike....every one has pet peeves, but does anyone have a PET named PEEVE?): little buttons, music (the masters of the hemisphere, mountain goats, unbunny, elf power, neutral milk hotel, boyish charms, crabs, tullycraft, jason morphew, the pop project, radio dept., lucksmiths, salteens, slumber party, club 8, saturday looks good to me, trembling blue stars, all girl summer fun band, the icicles, tiara, my brain, 14 iced bears, wee turtles, shermans, laura watling, turtle search, etc. etc. etc.), unabashed silliness, unabashed thoughtfulness, unabashed kindness, food and beverages, the simpsons, thumb-wrestling, talking the talk, walking the walk and dancing the dance. i favor favorable things. i miss the smell of crayons.
