Header 1

Header 2

(Insert Clever Subject Title Here)...

I have once again changed the site header, but this time it's awesomer than ever.  Also, I think it matches the color scheme a little better.  Behold its Photoshop and HTML goodness.

Anyhoozlebees, not only that, but I've got a "Bride and Prejudice" (2004) review for you to delight in.  Once again, sorry for the lack of updates, but school prohibits extratime of any kind.  As summer approaches, updates will hopefully become more frequent than once a month.  No promises, though.

The hit count on 1/18/05 was 5237.  That's 21 people at 10 cents each, so $2.10.  I'm just going to go ahead and round that up to $5 and we'll call it a success.

Tsunami Relief...
Posted by Indigo Retina on 1/11/05

We here at Indigo Retina's Site O' Stuff don't normally try to get the site involved with world events, except to make fun of them.  However, and I don't mean to make an embarassingly huge deal of this because we all know that the news organizations did a fantastic job of that, we like to do something positive once in awhile.  So, first off, here are some links to places you can donate:

UNICEF (United Nations Childrens' Fund)
American Red Cross
Islamic Relief Worldwide
Oxfam International
These and links to more charities can be found on Google's Tsunami Relief page

In addition, I'll be making a $20 donation to UNICEF to help the survivors.  In addition to that, for every visit the site gets between now and January 18, I'll add 10 cents to that figure.  So, tell people about the site, get them here so I can give a lot of money.   At the time of this posting, there have been 5216 hits, just as a reference number.

An Updizzle For Rizzle...
Posted by Indigo Retina on 1/1/05

After all the HTML rage I got from matching wits with Dreamweaver's formatting over that header issue, I decided to give the site a rest.  But I'm back with an all new header (isn't it pretty) and a holiday present in the form of a site update for all of you.

First off, I've got my favorite short comedy piece that I wrote for a Humor/Comedy Writing class I took.  It is entitled "TGI Spydays", and it's quite nice.  Enjoy.

In addition, I've got a veritable Santa's bag full of movie reviews.  Let's see what we've got here.  Some "Ocean's Twelve" (2004), "National Treasure" (2004) and "The Aviator" (2004) eh?  I'm sure we've got more.  Digging deeper, we've got some "I Heart Huckabees" (2004), "Criminal" (2004), "Resident Evil: Apocalypse" (2004), and "Cellular" (2004).  All pretty good in their own ways.  Now that is a lot of freaking movie reviews.  That brings the total number of movie reviews that have been done on the site to 78.  Read at your leisure, folks.

Just some general site things.  With Windows XP Service Pack 2 came a big security update for Internet Explorer, and it may show an information bar saying that it found some content on this site that was unsafe.  That's just the menu script at the top, and that's perfectly fine.  It doesn't hurt your computer a bit, so just right-click on the Info Bar if/when it comes up and say "Allow Content".  Then you'll be able to navigate the site no problemo.

Also, apparently, something on the site, I'm assuming it's the annoying Yahoo! Geocities side panel banner because I really don't want to imagine it being something I did wrong, may cause a Language character set install dialog to pop up.  Now, I assure you, there is no Chinese text on this or any other page on Indigo Retina's Site O' Stuff.  I am about as far from being or speaking Chinese as peanut butter is from being jelly.  That being said, just check the box that says "Don't install any language packs" and it won't show up again.  I'm hoping it's something that will be fixed by Geocities eventually, but you know them.  It took them years just to fix it so that their pop-ups didn't crash half the computers accessing this site. So, I'm not expecting a solution tomorrow or anything.  It's only ever happened on my computer, but Murphy's Law has always applied to this site so I'm hedging my bets.

So long 2004, you saw much design upgrades to the site, and a few bits of hilarity here and there. So, to everyone, the Indigo Retina's Site O' Stuff posse would like to wish you a wonderful New Year, and puppies for all.
