I’m sure the advice he gave me early today that we should have elope to Gretna Green is very useful! But we thought after all the effort every one had put in that we should get married in Albury.
We would like to thank you all for coming from far and wide to this, such a wonderful day. This has been the most amazing day of our lives.
I would also like to thank my Uncle Andrian, Ruth and Stephen Harvey for coming all the way from America to be with us today.
Also thank other people not already thanked.
We would also like to say a big thank you for all the gifts we have received, we will find the gifts very useful as we have just moved into a new house.
Thanks to the person who bought Kate a scrubbing brush!!… But I think she could do with some instructions!
I would like to take a moment, to thank my mother, and my late father for all their love and support they have shown me over the years. They have given me help and encouragement from my birth to school then to university and now, in my new life with Kate.
And BIG thanks to Brian and Jenny for the wonderful job of bring up, Kate, to me, the most beautiful woman in the world. They have worked so hard over the past 8 months to make this the best day of our lives.

Kate, thank you for agreeing to marry me, I remember the day when I proposed to you back on your birthday last November, it seems like only yesterday! And now, Kate, you’re my wife to have and to hold, forever! I am proud and honoured to now be your husband.
I would also like to say a special thank you to Simon for being the best man, and my best friend. I have known Simon for many years, since childhood, through good times and bad. And a special big thanks to Simon for getting me through the Stag night!
