I Am Jesus Christianity has taken its own religion and branded itself with my name. This religion has nothing to do with me. My true teaching is attainable for those who search, and for those with faith in I, Jesus Christ. You will not hear from me again in your lifetime, many strands of your descendency shall not hear me before I return again. So heed my words, those of you who understand my words will be rewarded tenfold. As men have evolved, so have their minds, ethics, and life-purposes. First, we were raw, violent, and animal-like. It was then that a philosophy of "an eye for an eye" flourished. These backward men cound not have survived with freedom, they needed a strong, paternalistic god to watch over them and keep order. They lived their lives attempting to gain acceptance from a vengeful god. A time soon came when this survival of the fittest morality was no longer acceptable to the higher-man. That is why I came, to give the masses a new teaching that would allow for a deeper, more fulfilling life. The new man was not yet prepared however, he was still dependent upon his heavenly-father image. This is why I spoke in parable, because only those ready to see would be premitted to gaze upon my light. Now however, the time is ripe, to show those who use my misrepresented words for personal gain, the truth. I am afraid that even this elucidation will not save the many. "Though seeing, they do not see; though hearing, they do not hear or understand." (Mathew 13:13) First off, those who wish to know my ways must follow my teaching. As simple as it seems, the multitude cannot do even this. It has been said that the new testament contains the teachings of Jesus, but my teaching is of only minority status. My words are spoken in Mathew, Mark, Luke, and John. My words are then only scantily scattered through out the remaining twenty-three books of the new testament. How can you learn of me by my students, when they did not even understand? There are some who have already understood this, and my true word, they have been saved already. I have come back for the remainder of my flock. The biggest obstacle in learning my way was the church itself. Once the false word had been dogmatized, hope of fulfillment nearly vanished. "Leave them; they are blind guides. If a blind man leads a blind man, both will fall into a pit." (Mattew 15: 14) The tide was turned somewhat with the reformation. It was realized that no one person was more able to understand the my words than anyother. Soon small fractions began to understand and live accordingly. Great damage had already occured, however. The church had retained its jewish mindset. Although it was clear that I spoke only in parable, the church could not accept it. They could not comprehend that words such as god, heaven and hell, were mere symbolisms. I came as king of jews, to free them, but ended up encaging even more. You see, I attemped to free them from the mindsets that kept them submissive, fearing, and focused away from their only chance at life. My philosophy is one of life, not the after-life. The salvation of your life depends on your understanding of your situation, only then may you be truly free. When I spoke of the "light of heaven," I was speaking of knowledge. "The kingdom of god is within you." (Luke 17:21) Only by knowing, by becoming enlightened, may one see. When I spoke of heaven and hell, I was speaking of a choice to be decided by all. By refusing my teaching, you chose a life of dependence and suffering, a hell. Those few who have followed me already have seen what is meant by "heaven on earth." I suppose you would like some proof that I am the Christ. You are like he who said, "Come down from the cross, if you are the son of god." (Mathew 27:40) If you had read my sayings you would not say such things, because as the bible says, "You do not put your god to a test." The only way to know for sure is to live as I have taught, and to watch the consequences. Are they consistent with what has been said? Do you finally have a purpose? Have you reached a "heaven on earth?" You cannot do this though, can you? You stubborn fool, all I have to say to you is, "Make every effort to enter through the narrow door, because many, I tell you, will try to enter and will not be able to." (Luke 13:24) |
