Christianity today through the power of the Media always tries to present the good side of its image, with love, compassion, and let Jesus change your life forever etc. But there is also a dark side to Christianity that must never be forgotten. Most modern day Christians have no idea what went on in the past, and have even less knowledge of what is still going on today within the church through the "World Council of Churches", in this global world in which we live.

The supposed Jesus said "By their fruit shall you know them" (Matt.7:20) "A good tree cannot produce corrupt fruit". (Luke 6:43) Well the fruit of Christianity has often been corrupt through the ages and this corruption cannot be disputed.

If the supposed Jesus could see the horror that has been done in his name, He would agree with me that the tree must be pulled out by the roots and thrown into the fire.

May I start by saying that I was once a water baptised born again Christian who took my faith seriously. I attended all church services at where ever I may have been fellowshipping at the time. These included Mainstream and Pentecostal Churches. If you wanted to put me in a box then I would have been a fundamentalist. I was an active participant at bible study classes, and played an active role in local prayer meetings both in the home and in the Church.

This article is not to put down people within the faith who have a serious desire to know the One creator God, but I believe, more so now than ever, that it is important to ask serious questions and demand an accurate answer. Unfortunately I doubt very much if your local Minister or Pastor would have sufficient knowledge to be able to answer accurately any serious probing. This is a serious stumbling block to those who seek truth. I am just an ordinary Aussie bloke with no Initials after my name, but with a burning desire within me for historical truth. In the past 2-3 years I have spent in excess of 1,000 hours in biblical and historical study, and this research is still ongoing.

It is a fundamental Christian belief expressed in the New Testament writings and repeated by later Christians, that all pagans (unbelievers) were servants of Satan, and that Christians had a right to protect themselves against corruption by unbelievers, and also a duty to save the unbelievers from eternal damnation and fiery torture in hell. ("hades" Greek mythology) This still applies today.

This belief led Christians to slaughter and also to enslave millions of European unbelievers in centuries of crusades, until all of Europe was Christianised. We know that this is true, because Christian clergymen proudly wrote lengthy articles describing in detail the atrocities they committed in forcing unbelievers to conversion.

In the 15^th century and onwards, Christians discovered new lands full of unbelievers, and they did to the Africians and to the Americian Indians exactly what they did to the European unbeliever, but there was one difference. Christian artwork had depicted Satan and his demons as black. Not suprisingly Christians decided that Africans and Indians were a lot closer to Satan than white skinned Europeans, and they (Christians) acted accordingly to protect themselves from the " pollution" of contact with dark skinned people.

People should avail themselves and read Historian, Forrest. G. Woods. Book "The Arrogance of Faith." for an in depth exploration of the Christian origins of Racism, Slavery, and Segregation.

According to history when the American civil war was over, Sunday mornings became the most segregated times of the week. And its not surprising that the people who were considered unbelievers, (pagans) formed various liberal movements who spoke out firstly against segregation and racism. That’s one of the reasons that white segregationists - including clergy - labeled the civil rights movements in America as communistic, a word that they considered synonymous with unbelievers.

Germany prior to the rise of Hitler was a Christian nation, the majority of its people were Christian, mainly Protestants. Hitler came to power only through the support of millions of German Christians, including many clergy. both Protestants and Catholic.

Hitler was raised as a Christian himself and invoked God, Jesus, and Christianity in his speeches and also in his book, mein kampf.

A statement by Hitler from his book mein kampf. "Hence today I believe that I am acting in accordance with the Almighty Creator by defending myself against the Jew, I am fighting for the work of the Lord."

In another of Hitler’s speeches. "Today Christians stand at the head of Germany. I pledge that I never tie myself to parties who want to destroy Christianity. We want to fill our culture again with the Christian spirit. We want to burn out all the recent developments in literature, in the Theatre, and in the press - In short we want to burn out the poison of immorality which has entered into our whole life and culture as a result of liberal excess during the past years." Three years later Hitler informed General Gerhart Engel " I am now as before a Cathholic and will always remain so."

The soldiers wore belt buckles saying "Gott mit uns" (God is with us) and his troops were often sprinkled with holy water by the priests.

You may ask yourself whether he was still a Christian, but his hatred for Jews - like the anti- semitism of millions of his supporters - was based solely in Christianity.

Although the term anti-Semitism was coined in 1879, anti Jewish agitation existed for thousands of years. Since the 4^th century c.e. and even before that, Jews have been regarded as the killers of Christ.

With the eventual domination of Christianity because Constantine (4^th century) made Christianity the official religion of the then Roman Empire, discrimination against Jews on religious grounds became a reality. Jews were massacred in great numbers during the Christian crusades.

History once again say's "The Roman Catholics were instrumental in reviving an upsurge of anti Jewish feelings in America after world war one ended."

At the 2^nd Vatican council announced by Pope John XX111 on 25^th January 1959 it was to hold 178 meetings each of 4 successive years, First gathering Oct.11, 1962. Last gathering Dec.8, 1965(1962-1965) The Roman Catholic Church formally repudiated the charge that Jews were responsible for the death of Christ, and they condemned genocide and racism as being unchristian.

(A little late for that)

Does this repudiation put the New Testament writings in error regarding Christ killers? If that is the case it should no longer be considered as the inspired word of God.

On the 15^th of February 2000, at the Vatican, the Pope and the leader of the P.L.O. terrorist organisation, Yasser Arafat, signed a covenant. It was a covenant between two enemies of Israel who for a long time would have liked to see Israel disappear from the Promised Land. Among other things this agreement recognises a "Palestine" state in the land of Israel and agrees on cooperation between the Vatican and the P.L.O. and the Vatican committed itself to assist the "Palestinians". It may be no accident that this covenant was signed one month prior to the Pope's visit to Israel. This agreement is part of a long -term policy of the Vatican against Israel ever since the state of Israel was founded. (May 1948.) This Covenant that was signed is a Covenant of hatred against Israel. This is a continuation of the historical hostility of the Vatican against the Jewish people. It is a part of Christianity. It is called anti-Semitism. Anti -Semitism is a Christian disease that Jews die from, it is also known today as replacement theology. The Church today states it is the New Israel as they have the New Covenant, commonly known as the New Testament.

Theologian Dietrich Bonhoeffer, became an outspoken opponent of Adolf Hitler and the Nazi regime. He tried to resist the Nazi attempt to impose anti - Semitism on society. He was imprisoned for his involvement in political resistance to Hitler in April 1943, and his death by hanging was carried out at a Nazi concentration camp at Flossenburg on April 9^th 1945. He was a man who put his effort towards world peace and he had a firm belief for a reinterpretation of Christianity for a modern secular world.

It was Christianity, beginning with the New Testament writings, that preached that Jews were the servants of Satan (just like pagans).

It was Christians who tortured and killed countless Jews over centuries. There were times though, when Jews were tolerated in Christian Europe, but their position was never stable.

Jews were also forced into Christian conversion by the Byzantines, Visigoths, and the victorious Spanish and Portuguese Christians of 1492 c.e. (The Spanish inquisition was established with Papal approval in 1478) They were also driven out of England and France at various times. Christians slaughtered Jews out of sheer hatred in the first crusade, during the black death, and many times simply because a "blood libel" or a host nailing accusation, put Christians in the mood for a pogrom.

In the 19^th century political parties in Germany, Hungary, and other countries fought ferociously against granting equal civil rights to Jews.

In France the Jewish officer Alfred Dreyfus (commonly known today as the "Dreyfus Affair") was framed as a spy by conservative Christians, some of who never acknowledged his innocence. Eventually Dreyfus was pardoned and he was decorated with the "Legion of Honour."

When Drefus was found guilty at the first court martial a storm of anti Jewish propaganda was unleashed by the powerful anti - Semitic Christian forces that existed at that time. The "Dreyfus Affair" (made into a movie) soon became an important public issue in France. Right wing political elements, the Army, and the Roman Catholic Church upheld the verdict of the court martial and declared him guilty. Many Liberals and intellectuals denounced the right wing elements, the army, and the Catholic Church.

Whatever other sources of Nazism there may be, its racism, and anti - Semitism that are solely the product of New Testament writings, Christian beliefs and Christian history. Christianity should bear the guilt for the holocaust. The small number of Liberal Christians who opposed Hitler cannot reduce the guilt of Christianity as a whole for its role in Nazi crimes, which included destroying organisations in Germany because they opposed Hitler. History shows that Christianity itself did not tolerate dissent. They imprisoned, tortured, and killed anyone who opposed them.

It has been asked if Augustine, Aquinas, Luther, and Calvin were "weak minded"? I don't believe so. History books show they were ruthless religious fanatics who opposed all who disagree against Christianity, especially the versions of Christianity that they supported.

Repression began as soon as the Christians gained control of the Roman Empire. Constantine jailed and suppressed Christian bishops who supported Arius. Arius was considered a heretic (325 c.e.) who denied the divinity of Jesus Christ, and the unity of the godhead (trinity.) In 385 c.e. The dissident (i.e. heretic) Priscillian and his followers were executed for heresy.

In the 5^th century Augustine provided the church with an ideological foundation for repression. He gave the church a fig leaf argument to cover over its naked crimes. Luther bullied against his opponents in numerous works that he wrote and spoke and he also supported the killing of heretics and book burning. He was a violent man, who cursed the Jews even on his deathbed. Christians today admire this man as a leader of the reformation movement. (Protestant movement today)

(Read about Martin Luther in the Catholic encyclopedia. You may say it's biased but I don’t think so. There is also a fair amount of secular literature available as to the true nature of Luther.)

Calvin let his deeds speak for themselves instituting a theocracy in Geneva and sending theologian Michael Servetus to the stake among other victims.

All the major reformers Luther, Calvin, Zwingli, Hooker- envisioned a New Christian society united through faith in Jesus Christ. This is a society (I use the word "is" here as it still applies today) in which Jews could not assimilate with, for the very faith of practicing Jews is Monotheism. (One God) and it makes them outsiders, permanent aliens to Christendom (trinity paganism) 3 gods in one.

For centuries Christianity required that all education conform to official Christian doctrine. The Byzantine Emperor Justinian, closed the Neoplatonist academy of Athens in 532 c.e. Seized its endowment for the benefit of Christians and prohibited the teaching of anything other than Christian doctrine in schools. That ban was controlled by every Christian society and was not lifted until the passage of the American First Amendment, which states." No religious test shall ever be required as a qualification to any office or public trust" Art.V1. " Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting an exercise thereof." From my understanding the American Presidential oath of office, the only oath in the constitution does not contain the phrase "so help me God" nor is there any requirement to swear on the bible.(art.11 Sec.7) Is it any wonder that the religious Reich (Holy Roman Empire) hates the First Amendment, and has tried many times through its congressional puppets, to run it through a shredder.

Christianity today is being glossed over. It is trying to close the door on the last 2000 years. As mentioned earlier, the majority of today's Christians have no idea of Church history,

At this present moment Christian schools are beginning to crop up all over this nation of Australia, (Funded as private schools by the present Liberal government). The motive I believe is chiefly to obstruct children's minds from the ability to think and act freely for themselves, and to suppress the past atrocities of the Church. The classroom of today should always remain a place of academic freedom, because without academic freedom there is no intellectual integrity. The "World Council of Churches" through the ecumenical movement is trying to implement the application of the Gospels to industrial, social, political, and international affairs. People of the world need to become aware as to what is going on behind the scenes. It is going to be up to secular schools to educate the children of today on the past truths of the history of Christianity, such as bigotry, discrimination, repression, endless violence, and murder in the name of blasphemy and heresy. Christianity makes the claim that it is the only one who has the "truth" so then let the "truth" be revealed.

Let's hope that children may be able to make an honest appraisal of the spiritual path if any that they may choose to follow in their later life.

Christians have been indoctrinated to believe that there is spiritual warfare going on around them, and that it is their duty to get out there and poke their noses into the behaviour patterns and affairs of non believers, and tell them how they should live their lives.

This is in opposition to the supposed God's word (Hebrew Tanach) about him giving us a free will. This supposed God said "choose life or choose death", so in order to have free will, the individual must be able to choose between following God or not. The individual should be able to worship and obey this supposed God by choice and not by compulsion.

Christianity brands the non believing individual as a pagan, (under the dominion of a Christianised Satan ) or as an heretic if you question the scriptures. Who's standing in judgment here. Man or God?

Is Christianity the stagnant mutton of yesteryear masquerading as the "Unblemished Lamb"?
