Government and the Church?

Governments should be based on not only freedom of religion but also on freedom from religion, and freedom of speech, and should be protected by constitutions. People who do not believe in some supernatural Supreme Being should be treated with the same equality as those who do, but this doesn't seem to be the case.

Freedom of religions, which our government in Australia says is the right of the people, is not a Christian principle. The Christian preacher will tell you that anybody who doesn't follow Christianity will burn in hell forever. The supposed Jesus said and I quote. "I am the way the truth and the life. No one comes to the father except through me." Christianity's past history has always punished people for practicing non-Christian views. This is not a freedom of religions. This is domination and control.

Freedom of speech is also not a Christian principle, because Christian leaders will also tell you that anybody guilty of blasphemy is a heretic and deserves punishment in the eternal fires of hell. Try to openly criticise the church, or the bible. Is this freedom of speech?

If our Australian government has established within this country, freedom of speech and freedom of religion then our government has ignored these Christian biblical principles. Christians themselves ignore many Christian principles as outlined in the New Testament, and that's why most Christians in today's society are looked upon as hypocrites. So it should be fair to say that the Australian constitution is not based on Christian principles.
