Introduction.

"Faith" is the acknowledgment of someone who is out of touch with the real world.

What would make any intelligent and educated person believe in the myths, fables, and folklore found in the bible. In order to believe what is written in this book one has to give up ordinary methods of discerning what is real. In other words Christians have to distort what is real to fit it into their belief system. Christian people call this distortion of reality "faith."

Faith is an excuse for ignorance and it becomes almost impossible to have a normal conversation with those who call themselves believers.

The idea that there was an historical Jesus became entrenched in Christian society and it has never been seriously challenged. Despite the widespread belief in Jesus the fact remains that there is no historical Jesus. His existence in secular history remains unknown. Although the existence of Julius Caesar... Roman General 100 - 44 b.c.e. or Queen Elizabeth I...English Monach who reigned 1558 - 1603 is an accepted and documentad world wide fact there is no reliable evidence at all for Jesus outside of the New Testament.

Eastern religions such as Buddhism, Shintoism, Taoism, and Confusism, Jesus is considered to be just another character in western mythology on a par with Thor, Zeus, and Osiris. The majority of these beliefs in Jesus only came into existence after the persecution of Nero and the destruction of the second temple in 70 c.e. and most of these beliefs are based on pagan legends about the Gods of Tammuz, Osiris and Attis.

The psychology of Christianity and other religions are rooted in the fear of god, fear of hell, fear of death, and fear of the unknown. Just as night follows day religions are beneficial to politicians, rulers, and power thinking theologians. People who are enslaved by superstition and deceived by mysticism are more easily governed and held in bondage.

The Greek historian Polypius acknowledged this fact centuries ago when he accused Romans of using mysterious terrors as a check upon the common uneducated people.

Saint Jerome also did the same and stated. 'There is nothing so easy as by sheer volubility to deceive a common crowd or an uneducated congregation."

Miracles are fabricated for the purpose of persuading the masses to believe in events that cannot be historically supported and cannot be proven from observations in the natural world.

All of the utterances that the supposed Jesus uttered can be found in ancient religions and pagan cults that predated his time frame. In other word none of Jesus sayings originated from his mouth. If this Jesus existed then he never left a single written word.

Should the reader wonder why I do not take into account or give credence to the works of Christian authors, my response is simply this. The judgment and analysis necessary to provide a reasonable and accurate account of the church can never be found in the works of those indoctrinated as Christians. The Christian author writes within the framework of religious tradition and considers himself to be a servant of that tradition. Asking a Christian for an objective view of Christianity would be like asking a communist for an objective view of Karl Marks.

Having been raised in a supposed Christian society in Australia and as one of those baptised by full immersion, I was one who was "born again" into Christianity.

I am well aware of what it means to be a believing Christian and I’m also aware of what being a dissenting ex-Christian is about.

I am also aware of the numerous variations of the Christian theme that has arisen and evolved out of the many denominations, sects, and cults that make up the faith. I am also aware of all the rationalisations that have been put up in defense of the Christ of the Apostolic church.

Will the truth of Christianity ever be learnt? Perhaps not. I just hope that my testimony and my essays will lead readers to some meaningful speculation of their own.

All computers owners with internet connection can have access to religious archives in universities and from religious institutions and do their own research.

Many Christians fear to look as they are not to question the church.

I hope you find the contents of this web page a learning experience.
