Favorite Places
I wasn't going to include this section from the original about me page but I figured hell, it is extra work for me to do, so why not?  I guess I'll talk about what some of my favorite places are, some of them will be travel destinations and some just simple places I love to be.

Favorite Local Places:

Home: Not all that exciting huh?  I guess not, but one of my favorite places to be is honestly at home.  I like sitting in my living room watching my soap operas, laying on my bed reading my favorite books, or sitting here in front of my computer staring endlessly at the too bright screen.  These are the times when I am happiest, doing the simple things that require little thought or activity.  I also like playing games with my family on Saturdays, when almost every relative on my dads side of the family (odd since I live with mom!!!) comes over to hang out, get drunk, etc.

Morgan's House:  I like going over to Morgan's because she is my best friend in the world, and she is totally a blast to hang out with.  Her parents are like my second parents, and they are some of the coolest adults I know.  Me and Morgan have a thing for school night sleepovers, so I spent a lot of time there this year, sometimes working on projects, sometimes installing her new computer, and often just messing around. Whatever we did, we always had fun, and her house will always be one of my favorite places to be.  Plus they have the coolest guest room around, lol, not that that in ANY way is why I go there! haha:)

Grandma's House:  There is no one in the world quite like a grandma's house, though my grandma doesn't own a rocker, and I don't know the last time she baked anything.  She is really cool, and so is my grandpa.  I spend a lot of time there this year, since my school is WAY closer to their them my home.  My grandpa owns an upholstery shop, and my grandma spends her days remodeling their home, and painting things.  She recently bought a computer though, so maybe she will become hooked, and things will stop getting painted weird colors.  Anyways this is one of the most laid back and cozy places I can go, and I still go and visit a lot!

NON Local Places:

Port Orford, Oregon:  When I was a little kid my great aunt lived in this coastal town, and I would spend weeks there in the summer.  On the ocean beach outside of town there was this HUGE boulder called battle rock, where a fight between indians and settlers took place, and there are tombstones up there and stuff.  I used to climb up to the top, and sit for hours looking out at the ocean.  I've done a lot of travcling in my life, but I have never been anywhere that amazed me more or made me feel more at peace that Port Orford.  I hope to return there someday to see if it is really as I remember.

Utica, Indiana: I have never really figured out why I loved this place so much, other thatn I lived right on the river, had my own king size waterbed, and my own room. (a precious gem in my family, since me and my sister ALWAYS shared rooms as younsters)  Which off the subject, but I never did understand that, since at one point we had an entire floor of a house to just the two of us, and we STILL shared a room!!!  Anyways, back to Utica.  It was a tiny little town on the waterfront, but I think that is what attracted me to it.  You could ride your bike for miles, with no cares in the world, no thoughts of kidnappers or other beasts.  It was a great time in my life, because my only care in the world was hiding my cat Useless from the landlady who lived on a house boat behind us.

Hmmm it seems like I should talk about the Golden Gate Bridge, the Grand Canyon, Yosemite, Yellowstone, the Great Salt Lake, and all those other supposedly aweinspiring places I have been, but to be honest, I was more a fan of the things other people would hate.  Though I do have two more favorite cities!

Seattle:  This was a really cool city to live in for a couple reasons.  First of all, there was tons of shopping and a lot of interesting people.  I never went to school while I lived there, though I probably should have!  I liked the bookstores, what an odd thing to recall huh?  It did rain a lot, but I love storms so that didn't bother me in the slightest.
