Brotherhood of Life

We have seen many bikers and convicts come to Christ though various
ministries. These new converts need discipling and a loving, caring
environment. Sadly, many mainline churches in our area are not comfortable
with "this type of people" attending their services and frankly the new
Christians from a fringe lifestyle, aren't very comfortable with the
"church folk".

I received a word from the Lord that we need to not abandon the new
Christian bikers and ex-convicts. We have decided to start a church called
the "Brotherhood of Life" and fold it under the umbrella of
Compassionate Ministries since there was already an administrative structure etc.

We envision this ministry as an Interdenominational ministry that would
teach and grow new Christians into more mature follower of Christ who
would be an asset to a mainline church.

We intend to keep the group small and intimate so no one gets "lost in
the crowd". We intend to help these new Christian brothers and sisters
learn what it means to "walk with God", how to pray, how to worship,
how to study the Bible for themselves, and most of all, how to seek God's
will for their life.

I hope to accomplish this though weekly "services" to acquaint them
with basic worship and the community of the saints. This will be
accompanied with focused studies and discussion groups.
