The Borley Rectorywas built in 1863 by Reverend Henry Bull. It was destroyed by a fire on 02/27 and 02/28 in 1939.
Capt. William Gregson and his family were the last to live in the rectory. After the fire, the ghosts seem to move across the street to the Borley Church.

It is considered to be one of the most famous haunted houses in the world. It is located in Eussex, England near the Stour River. The ground it sits on has been reported to be very haunted.
On October 16, 1930, Reverend Lional Foyster and his wife Marianne movie into the rectory. It has been reported that while there they have witnessed:
~Over 2,000 alleged paranormal events.
~Writtings on the walls that seem to be "someone" trying to communicate with marianne.
