"My mother and I were visiting my grandmother at her house. We were all sitting on the front porch, when I became thirsty. I went inside the house, to the kitchen, to get something to drink. After I had finished I was headed back out to the porch when I noticed this old rocking chair. It began to rock back and forth on its own! There was no one else in the house, or so I thought. I quickly ran back out to the porch. My grandmother asked me what was wrong, so I told her and she said, "Oh, don't worry about it, its just Mrs. Bloom come back for a visit, she won't hurt you."
(Note~Mrs. Bloom was the old lady who had lived in the house before my grandmother.)

"My Uncle Dave once told me this story thats true. There was this little girl who was an habitual sleepwalker. One morning her mother went to wake her and found her soaking wet. They couldn't understand how she could have gotten so wet during the night. A few nights later, the mother was awaken by a sound and went to see what it was. The little girl had gotten up outta bed and went out the door. The mother watched her closely to see what she would do. As the mother watched, the little girl walked to the pond. Knowing her daughter couldn't swim, the mother was horrified to see her enter the pond and start swimming. She ran after her daughter, screaming for her to stop. This woke up the little girl and she drowned. Which goes to prove you should NEVER wake up a sleepwalker."

"My husband was in the Navy stationed at the NAS BERMUDA base in Bermuda. He was the theatre manager also on the base. One day we were the only ones in the theatre doing some renovations. We were in the lobby at that time, painting, when we both heard a noise. We looked at each other at the same time and my husband asked me, "Did you hear that?". I said, "Yes". He said, "I heard somebody walking". I looked at him and said, "I heard somebody TALKING!" So we both looked at each other again and decided to get the hell outta there. Later we were telling some other people about it and they told us that alot of times at night when people would drive by they can see someone standing inside the theatre with an WWII uniform on. They believe that is because the theatre was built over a graveyard.

Two more strange occurances happened there also.
~While showing the movie, "Batman", the theatre had actual bats flying about. It was not part of a gag, special effects, etc...no one to this day knows where the bats came from.
~While showing the movie, "Arachnaphobia",...yep you guessed it....the theatre was overrun with LIVE spiders. Again no gag, no special effects...no explanation."

"When my husbands' aunt died, she appeared before her father's bedside as a little girl. (Due to him being in the hospital at the time, he didn't find out till next day she had passed away) At the exact same moment, my husbands other aunt looked out her bedroom window and saw a beautiful rosebush , which was not there before and has since disappeared."

"While I was pregnant with my second child, we found out my husbands grandfather had cancer. We were living in Norfolk, VA at the time, so we came home to visit him in the hospital. At the time, my son, who didn't come with us to hospital, was the only great granchild. We were at great grandfathers beside talking with him when he says, "I have to hurry up and get out of this hospital so I can help take care of my great granddaughter." We were confused as to why he would say this. We told him he didn't have a great granddaughter, that he only had a great grandson. He just repeated, "I have to get out of this hopsital so I can help take care of my great granddaughter." then he placed his hand on my abdomen. The whole time I was pregnant I was told I was going to have a boy. Our Great Grandfather died September 24 and my DAUGHTER was born October 5th."

"When my mother passed away, a spanish friend of mine told me to place a lit candle next to a cup of water. The candle was to represent my mother "finding her way to the light". I'm not sure what the water was for. That night, as my daughter and I got ready for bed, I lit the candle and to make sure it was up out of my daughters reach had she rose before me in the morning, I placed them on top of the refridgerator. The next morning, I awoke to find the cup of water ahd been turned over with the cup still on the refridgerator but the water was all over the floor. There was no one in the apartment except for my daughter and I and I knew she hadn't done it. I have no explaination for this except to believe my mother paid me a visit."
