Curtis McDonald officiating. Spring burial will be in Valley Crossroads Cemetery, Valley, Colchester County. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Canadian Red Cross Society.

768.  "Halifax Herald," 1 Jun 1999, SWAIN, Ada Ann - 50, Herring Cove Road, Halifax, formerly of Salmon River, Colchester Co., died May 28, 1999, at home. Born in Antigonish, she was a daughter of the late George William Sydney and Elsie Patricia (Robison) Swain. She graduated from Nova Scotia Teachers College and later received her bachelor of science and education degrees from Mount Saint Vincent University. She was employed for 19 years with the Halifax Regional School Board as a teacher at Cornwallis Junior High School. Surviving is brother, Bruce, Halifax. Visitation 2-4, 7-9 p.m. today, funeral 1 p.m. Wednesday, both in J. Albert Walker Funeral Home, 149 Herring Cove Rd., Halifax. Burial 3 p.m. Wednesday in Valley Crossroads Cemetery, Colchester County. Donations to Heart and Stroke Foundation of Nova Scotia.
