September 2006 - Same Same Going Home
After spending nearly a year in Thailand, Bob and Clint Moffatt, twin brothers of Sony BMG Music Entertainment Thailand pop act Same Same, are going back to Canada and eventually the United States to visit family and begin working on their new album.
“We are looking forward to going back for a while,” said Bob, the band’s drummer and back up singer. “It will be great to see family and I think it will give us some new scenery and some new inspiration for our new album.”
Bob also mentioned that his Same Same counterpart, Clint, will be involved in more than just song writing on this trip.
“He actually wants to get back into acting.” Bob said of the band’s lead singer and bassist.” He’s going to be spending some time in Los Angeles and it’s likely that he’ll take a few acting classes while he’s there,”
The pair both enjoyed their stint in Thailand and hope to get back to SE Asia before too long.
“We had a great time while living in Thailand and touring the rest of South East Asia,” Bob said. “The people were so nice and it was a great experience culturally. We really look forward to coming back.”
The guys aren’t quite sure how long they will be away, but it will likely be some time in early 2007 before they return to Asia.
“We’d like to be home for the holidays, but really it depends on how long it takes us to write the record,” Bob said. “But we’ll be recording it in Thailand for sure.”

Same Same Album
Same Same will release their new album in 6 far eastern countries while
touring each of them to promote it. Thailand & The philippines will
hear it first with Malaysia, Indonesia, Taiwan & China to follow.
Same Same have a record deal with Sony BMG Thailand. The contract invloves 3
albums.
