I have communicated with nature and nature spirits all of my life. As a child, I learned how to walk easily between the worlds and this awareness has never left me.  Because of my deep sense of connection with nature and the spirit world, it was a natural progression for me to learn the ways of the shaman soul. 

 

It feels so good to just stop and listen to nature…to work with her energy and to flow within the natural rhythms she moves in.  By teaching classes on Earth Energies, Animal and Plant Communication, Elemental Forces, Reiki, Ra Sheeba and Hawaiian Huna, I am able to blend in the combined energies of Nature and Spirit to share with others some magikal and practical ways we can open doors and move out of a stuck place into unlimited possibilities.

 

Some easy ways to Connect to the Animal World :

 

SOFT EYES = Panoramic vision and looking from heart feelings.

1.      Pick a relatively small object and look at it with hard eyes. Look at it with intense focus, scrutinize every little detail.

2.      Now look at it with soft eyes. Try to see as wide an area around the object as possible. Do not focus on the details of the object, but how it relates in size to everything around it. Increase your panoramic vision as much as you can.

3.      If you are indoors, take in the whole room.

4.      If you are outdoors, take in the landscape and the sky.

5.      Now notice the difference in your facial muscles, your neck and shoulder muscles, your breathing.

6.      Animals become instantly calmer when you become conscious of your focus (soft eyes) and breathing through your diaphragm.

 

 

TRADING PLACES EXERCISE

Your intention: To trade places (mentally) with a dog or cat, or other animal. Setting: Home, Zoo, Wilderness, etc.

  1. Relax your body as completely as you can.
  2. Calm your mind, eliminating all thoughts, which do not relate to your intent and purpose.
  3. Sit so that you are comfortable, and as nearly as possible on the same level with the animal you will be working with.
  4. Lie down if you like. The important thing is that you are able to comfortably make eye contact (please use the soft eye technique,in the above exercise, when looking at an animal) with your animal partner in this exercise.
  5. It is also important to satisfy yourself that the animal is likewise comfortable and secure with you.
  6. Take a deep breath. Radiate love out from your heart center, so that it surrounds both you and the whole animal.
  7. As you slowly exhale, look into the animal's eyes,(using soft eyes) and imagine that a part of your awareness is being transmitted through your breath into the animal's mind.
  8. Watch the animal breathe, and imagine that a part of its awareness is being transmitted into your mind.
  9. Continue looking directly into the animal's eyes (using soft eyes) until you feel your consciousness merge with the animal's consciousness.
