1)  What is Hypnosis?

Hypnosis is an altered state of consciousness, in which we allow  ourselves to become subconsciously suggestible.
The senses become alert, or even acute, and the hypnotized client may follow instructions in an uncritical, automatic
manner.   Hypnosis is equally effective for children, teens and adults.  From ages 6 to 96, hypnosis provides
a relaxing, enjoyable, and self-empowering modality for creating positive behavioral changes by changing or
upgrading how we think and see ourselves on the deeper, subconscious level.

   2)  Is it sleep?

No.  Hypnosis is a waking state ... detached, and more often than not, deeply relaxed.  You are not asleep.  Your
conscious mind, or critical factor, becomes subdued, as the subconscious mind becomes more open, focused and
receptive to the beneficial suggestions that are designed specifically for your goal accomplishment.  You can always
choose to accept or reject the suggestions, images and concepts.

3)  Can anyone experience hypnosis?

Yes. If you can daydream, fantasize, zone out to commercials, tune out someone you are not interested in listening
to, you can easily experience hypnosis.

   4)  How much does a  Hypnosis session cost?

Hypnosis sessions are very reasonably priced!  For most, one session is all it takes.  Because your session is
recorded to a CD for you to utilize as reinforcement to what we accomplish during your session, you are essentially
providing your own follow up reinforcement, thereby minimizing the number of visits necessary ... as well as
keeping your hypnosis program cost effective!  Program sessions are only $195.00 for the 1.5 to 2 hour visit.
Follow up sessions, if needed, are priced at the hourly rate of $100.00 per hour with a 30 minute minimum.

5)  Does it work?

Yes! Hypnosis is a very effective method of eliminating bad habits, of learning new skills, and of creating both
positive behavioral changes and healthier lifestyles.

6)  Can anyone experience hypnosis?

Yes. Anyone of average intelligence.  All it takes is the "want" to.

7)  Are the sessions one-on-one?

Most sessions are one-on-one to accomodate customizing to meet your personal and professional goals.  Group
sessions are discounted, depending upon the number of persons participating in the session.  Please call for rates
if you are interested in booking a group.

8)  Is Hypnosis approved by the AMA (American Medical Association)?

Yes. Hypnosis has been approved by the AMA since 1958.

9)  Who conducts the Hypnosis sessions?

DJ Lynch, NGH Board Certified Hypnotist and NGH Certified Instructor.  DJ has a background as an Employee
Training Director, and Respiratory Therapist, with over 25 years total medical and management responsibility. DJ is
the mother of one grown son.

10)  How long does it take?

Most sessions are conducted in one and a half to two hours.  The first hour is assessment and tutorial, teaching
you what Hypnosis is, what makes it effective, and what you can do to maximize your success.  The actual
hypnosis
        session
takes 35 to 45 minutes.   When two persons schedule and attend together, the tutorial is provided together,
but the sessions are conducted individually, one-on-one, customized to meet each person's needs.  For groups, CD's
are provided for follow up, but are not specific to each client's situation and goal information.

11)  Does it take more than one session?

The VAST majority achieve success with ONE session!  Some people enjoy their success to the degree that they
return with additional goals to achieve!

12)  Does everyone get a CD?

Some clients do not need a tape or CD; however it is recommended, as the repition conditions you ... trains you to
automatically think more positively.  You begin to see yourself differently ... as you wish to be ... and this enables
you to accomplish your goals without self-defeating thoughts.  The positive and beneficial suggestions become
part of your natural thought processes.

13)  Do you accept credit card payments?

Yes. Visa, Mastercard, and Discover and debit cards that carry the Visa or MC logo.  Also personal checks, and cash.

14)  Re-Booking Policy:

Scheduling conflicts happen.  48 hours advance notice of need to cancel or reschedule is required so that your time-
slot may be booked by a client needing an earlier appointment.  Re-booking an appointment
without 48 hours
         notice
will therefore include a $20.00 surcharge.   With 48 hours notice, of course, there is NO CHARGE to
reschedule.   "No Shows"  will be rescheduled only once and will require the same surcharge.
