Dramtis Personae

Link. He is the Hero of Legend.  He is young.  He alone must shoulder the heavy burden of saving his land.  THe legends often speak of his courage and purity.  The Blood of Heroes courses his veins.  He is hopes single solitary beacon

Princess Zelda. The Legend bears her name.  I am unsure as to why considering that all she ever does is get kidnapped.  She is the princess of Hyrule, destined to reign, granted of course, that her realm does not fall into evil hands.  Although young, she does possess wisdom beyond her years, and a resolute spirit as pure as snow

Agahnim.  He is the servant of a darker force.  He pocesses a supreme skill in the arcane arts.  Once revered as a miracle worker, for having saved Hyrule from the odd calamities that befell it prior to the Legend.  This made him the King's most trusted offical.  Now he sits on the Throne after deposing the good king, preparing the way of conquest for his master.

The Master Sword of Legends Past. It is the Sword of Evil's Bane.  In past times of crisis, a Hero has claimed the sword and saved Hyrule.  After centuries it sleeps in the misty glades of the Lost Woods awaiting a new Hero when trials arise.  It can only be wielded by a Hero who has proven his wisdom, courage, and power;  and who has a pure spirit.    Only with The Master Sword can Link repel the dark tide which threatens his beloved Hyrule

This is the land of Hyrule.  It has existed for the past 2000 years in peace.  A sinsiter arcane force wishes to ursurp that peace and claim Hyrule as it's own. According to legend there is a twisted doppleganger of Hyrule where the Dark Lord is said to have been exiled to.

This is Mr. Shigeru Miyamoto.  He is the mastermind behind the Zelda series, and the entire home gaming industy, for that matter.  Miyamoto is to gaming what Orson Welles and Alfred Hitchcock were to film. What Shakespeare was to literature.  What Will Eisner is to comics.  The works of his imagination, have allowed mine and others to take flight.
